Lipa Noi - valley - 4-5 hours
The Lipa Noi Valley Trek is a strenuous trek of about 10 km that leads past one of the highest peaks of Koh Samui.
We will start at an old half cement - half dirt road about 225 meter above sea level, that will lead us uphill to the mountain top. A sometimes rather steep but steady climb of about 400 meter on a beautifull road leading through lush green forests as well as fruit plantations.
From the moment we start walking we will be rewarded with stunning views over the west side of the island - on a clear day even all the way to the main land. The higher we get the wider the view and more and more glimpses on other sides of the island.
On the last part of the trek we will go down the mountain, nearly all the way to the bottom, while having breathtaking views over the west coast all the way to the main land.
We advise to wear shoes for this hike to prevent any injuries. The sand can be very slippery when dry so you need a good grip.
The tour will take 4 up to 5 hours depending on our pace and the lengths of our rests.
